These community events ensure accessibility to our iconic ‘back yard’ for all to enjoy.

Our Green Island Family Day has been a very popular event for over 10 years. With tropical island fun for all, the day also raises funds for local charities through the entertaining beach volleyball challenge.

The Green Island Ocean Swim is indeed a unique location for an Ocean Swim – right on the Great Barrier Reef. Taking place in October, the event consists of 1.5km and 3km swims, as well as a fun ‘nippers’ swim.
